October 31, 2005 – Below are photographs taken at the 2005 GDCA National Specialty's Top Twenty Invitational, a "Black Tie" event which honors the country's top winning Great Dane champions from the previous show year, January - December 2004.

I was privileged to be part of the audience. We were given the rare opportunity to view, at close range, many of the nation's very finest Great Danes along with their expert handlers.

Present that evening were 14 of the 20 top ranking Danes. Due to the large number of photographs, I will spread this presentation over three installments. The Danes are pictured below in the approximate order of their appearance in the ring.
