He's back again this summer, but he only comes out at
night
and he won't stand still for a picture
June 1, 2009 – We've been in Germany for
2 weeks now. I feel like a kid at summer camp.
HWK,
where we are living, is basically a "think tank" for scientists. As
such, HWK's 'Resident Fellows' and their families are well taken care of. Life
is much simpler for us here. It's a wonderful break from the
normal demands of our daily life back in the States. By summer's end I know I'll
be anxious to get back home, but for now I am enjoying the shift in culture and
having ample to time to explore various aspects of digital
photography.
Last week I showed you some of the animals that live
at Brookgreen
Gardens in
coastal Carolina. Here are a few more creatures I photographed during my brief
visit:
