— PUPPIES! — December 1, 2008 — Five newborn Great Danes recently joined the neighborhood and since they live nearby I'll be able to watch them grow. (Lucky me!) The brood was whelped on November 23 by Glenn and Cindy Niske's CH Seventh Heaven VZ Top's Lord Have Mercy!, aka Hannah. Their sire is none other than CH Maitau's Top Billing, ROM CGC, widely known as Topper. Topper passed on 11 years ago but his owner/breeders Helen and Tiffany Cross, and Pat Ciampa, wisely banked his sperm. This highly anticipated litter was produced from their last straw of semen. Here are some photos of the pups (3 brindle males, 1 brindle female and 1 fawn female) and their proud mama:
