— BREMEN — September 1, 2008 — Public transportation in Germany is wonderful — and it's often much more practical than driving. A 10 minute bus ride from our flat in Delmenhorst, followed by a 10 minute train ride, puts us in the friendly port city of Bremen. With a 1200 year history, there's plenty to see and do in Bremen:
