— Children of Hahvaykah —

July 21, 2008 — I've begun working on a new series of images. They feature some of the children we've met while living at the Institute for Advanced Study (Hanse Wissenschaftskolleg, aka HWK) in Delmenhorst, Germany. Many of the resident Fellows from around the world have brought their families with them. The children are lively, bright and at times quite entertaining. They have been quite willing to pose for me, perhaps out of curiosity. This is the first opportunity I've had to photograph children so I am eager to take advantage of it. Pictured above is Emma. This is, however, a work in progress.
