November 12, 2007 — Below are photos from the third day of the regular class judging at the 2007 GDCA National. First and second place winners are displayed and identified. I've also created some secondary galleries of certain dogs.

Why some and not others?
I shot additional photos of Danes and/or handlers who I happen to like, but more often the limiting factor was what I could see from where I was sitting. Sometimes a handler or judge blocked my view of the dog, preventing the sort of shots I wanted; other times I got lucky. (Note: I could put together numerous "galleries" for Danes featured in previous installments, but I haven't had the time. Maybe later, if there's enough interest.)

At any rate, I hope you enjoy this week's class winners. I was planning to post an assortment of photos from Winners Dog and Winners Bitch beginning next week. However, I am heading to NYC on Wednesday and I don't think I'll be able to put it all together before we leave. So please, just sit tight until I get back. I should have the next installment up by next Wednesday.
