— CH Longo's
Starr Studded V Miller —
August 20, 2007 — I have to say,
I do like the black Danes. The more I see them, the more I appreciate them. There
is nothing like a jet black Dane with a sleek and shiny coat. I love the way
light reflects off their fur, accentuating the animal's sculptural form.
Pictured above is CH Longo's Starr Studded
V Miller, aka Starry, as she appeared in the Best of Breed ring at last year's
National. She took an Award of Merit at the tender age of 18 months assisted
by her handler, Jessie Gerszewski. I should mention that Starry is now BISS
CH Longo's Starr Studded V Miller AOM. Congratulations!
Starry was bred by Tootie Longo, Lorraine
Matherly, along with David and Jay
Miller. She is owned by the Longos and the Millers. Starry's sire was CH Longo's
Chandler Brown. Her dam was BIS BISS CH Longo's Alana Fontana. I'm looking forward
to seeing Starry again at this year's GDCA National in October.
