July 28, 2003 – For your viewing pleasure, I've assembled a photo gallery of some 90 photos taken at the Houston Dog shows on July 17-19, 2003. Please bear in mind that these images were shot indoors under poor lighting conditions without benefit of a flash, so the exposure time was, of necessity, pretty long. I used a tripod, but like most dogs, Danes seldom stand completely still – even in the ring – so some of my shots reflect their movement. Oh, well. I'm sure if somebody had told these Danes they were posing for DaDane of DaWeek, they would have stood as still as statues, don't you think? (Not !!)

Who's Who?
Unfortunately, I was unable to put a name on each and every Dane, so I left all the names off. If somebody out there wants to take the initiative to identify every dog for me, I'll be happy to add that information to the pictures. (Any takers? Please?) Just one more thing – I've placed a copyright notice on the photos because my "stuff" keeps turning up online in places it shouldn't. I hope it isn't too distracting.
