December 16, 2002 – I don't know about you, but when I try to dress Great Danes in Christmas paraphernalia, their sunny dispositions evaporate. Their discomfort is articulated by moans and groans – and they give me a look that says, "Bah Humbug! You can't be serious about this holiday stuff." Well, in most cases we ARE serious. We pull out the camera and start snapping away.

This lovely, but clearly unhappy, Great Dane lives on Martha's Vineyard with her owner, Dianne Powers. Grace hates wearing a Santa Cap but at least she hasn't been asked (yet) to wear the dreaded Antler Ears. That privilege was been reserved for her brother Trouper, who was far too embarrassed to put in an appearance today.

Note: Due to a heavy schedule (coupled with a computer crash) this week's spot is a "re-run" from 2000. Gracie has appeared previously; she was featured in Farmer Dane.
