It's Showtime!

October 1, 2001 – All around the country, Great Danes and their caretakers are preparing for the annual Great Dane Club of America's National Specialty. This year's event, which will take place in Lancaster, PA, is hosted by the GDCA's Northeast Division. The week-long GDCA National Specialty is a really BIG show for really BIG dogs – indeed, it is the "Westminster" of Danedom!

You don't want to miss this exciting event. Everyone is welcome to attend, and you'll have the opportunity to see for yourself many of the world's top Great Danes competing in various categories. There is no admission fee for spectators. Over 600 Great Danes have been registered to compete this year!

The GDCA National Specialty will be held at the Lancaster Host Resort & Conference Center, 2300 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA. Those of you who can't attend will be able to see pictures of this exciting event on-line. The Great Dane Reporter will post daily photos on its Web site.
