 I'd like you to meet Florina. She is a 20-month-old Dane from Bissendorf, Germany. She comes from Licht des Nordens kennel, owned by Yvonne Putty. Florina is a very nice girl who began her show career this year. Yvonne and her husband, Uli, were so gracious to us during our visit to Germany. They invited us to their beautiful home where we very much enjoyed seeing their four adult Great Danes and six puppies. (I will feature the puppies next week.) They also took us to the VDH Europasieger-Zuchtschau 2000, an annual European championship dog show in Dortmund, Germany. If you compare this week's portrait to last week's you will see that Florina's "style" is much different from some of the others we saw in Dortman.
