The Patriot
I hope you will all indulge me on this one. It isn't really about a Great Dane. It's about a Great Idea.

I had the pleasure of working with some friends on a very exciting Web site which was unveiled last month. It's called GI Search (http://www.gisearch.com/). The purpose of the site is to reunite military people who have lost track of each other over the years. It provides FREE services for all branches of the military. It can be used by service members, retirees, veterans, spouses, "brats," and even civilians. It's a great way to locate and keep in touch with old friends.

I like the site! And I am proud to say that I helped design GIsearch.com. I feel it offers something of real value to our society. Please check it out and spread the word.

Special note: This week I will be visiting Bremen, Germany. I'll be attending a BIG dog show on May 7 where I hope to see hundreds of Great Danes. I will have my camera with me; if you check back on Monday I may have some neat show pictures posted.
