"The Birth of Venus"

Scholars from the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy, recently discovered an earlier version of Botticelli's famous painting titled "The Birth of Venus." This shocking composition predates the famous Florentine Renaissance painting that was completed c. 1480. It proves, once and for all, that Great Danes were highly valued in Italian society during the 15th century.
