Hope you'll be feeling back to normal soon Ginnie! It WAS a wonderful National!! I can't imagine going through 8000+ photos - Mary Ann Land told me that she had about that many, and I'm sure Zeli does too - thanks to all of you faithful picture takers!! We all really, really appreciate it!
And I second your appreciation of all of Char's hard work. Does anyone know where I can find her address? I want to send her a thank you note...

I spoke to Char on the last day (I'm surprised the poor lady was still able to walk & talk!<g>). She told me that before she started baking, she'd put up over 200 jars of that wonderful home-made salsa. THEN she baked 200+ loaves of that wonderful banana nut bread, THEN she started in on all the hundreds of cakes!! She said it was "easier" this year because she had a new oven that was about twice the size of her old one, so she could bake 6 loaf pans or 4 bundt cake pans at once. She deserves a medal!! That hospitality room food was a LIFESAVER!!

My chair was right beside the photographers chairs, so I witnessed first hand the intensity to which Ginnie and the other photographers worked.
Each time I spoke to Ginnie, she was unable to look up at me because she was steadily shooting.
I'm very lucky in living next to Ginnie, because I've been privy to some of those 8000 shots she took! Nanny, nanny boo-boo!
Ginnie, you're GRAND and i know that you know how appreciated you are by ALL OF US...
