We were wondering where you had gone <G>. Helen appears to be as happy in "town" as she was in the country. Our first "girl" went from the big city to the country & seemed to be as happy. From time to time she saw deer behind the fences on the back end of our "lot". Have a good trip. |
I love Helen she is one of my FAVORITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So is Karen.
Glad you are now close distance to them both. Fondly Lisa Deroulet |
What a beauty! Don't you just love our "working girls", always protecting us from the creatures that lurk around the house... whether it be the pool cleaner, the vacuum, or even the ice maker in the middle of the night... we are safe from all intruders. |
i am so behind on Da Dane of the week thanks to jury duty for the last 6 weeks....Helen- what a girl. my Moses thinks the pool sweep is a giant sea serpent and will run round and round the pool barking at it. |
Helen The Beautiful! She just gets better with age! Uh, and so do you Karen! <vbg> |
i am so glad to see that I'm not the only one who knows these lovely fur-babies can think !!! I know Sadie-grace can tell me quite a few things if I will just look and listen !!!!she is one smart cookie !!!!! and pretty too !!!!!
and of course she has me wrapped around her lovely little {ok not so little paw } paw !!!!!! keep the stories and info coming !!!! love monday am's for the da-dane of the week !!!!! |
Age before beauty?, What ever, she has them both and is a teaching relative of Evie. She has not taught Evie not to jump on the pool cover yet, but decided to let evie find out some things on her own, after Evie jumped and didn't know the pool cover had been removed. A hard lesson to learn but it worked. Helen is a lover and will lean on anyone who gives a good hand rubbing. She's a little more grey now but just because there's snow on the roof it doesn't mean she lacks her patroling duties inside and out, and of course she never misses a meal or a snack from her admirers. Of course I'm a little partial as I am her grandmother.
Good Job Ginnie. |
The divine Miss Helen is always regal and oh so perfect in every way. If she were human she would be a rock star or a world class tennis player with a boy toy following behind carrying her Louis Vuitton luggage. She is and always will be 'Da Lovely".... |
Miss...um...Her Highness Helen, is as beautiful as ever!!! Karen has shared with me many 0f the beautiful photographs she has shot of Hellie over the years. This lady Dane's personality simply leaps from her pictures! Though I have not yet met Helen & Karen in person, I have greatly enjoyed them as e-pals. What fun to see such a lovely Great Dane featured at DaDane. Thanks Ginnie! Happy traveling! |
Miss Helen, what a grand lady she has grown into. I still carry her picuture of her Best In Match, when she was what maybe 12 weeks old. Wow, where has the time gone. She is as beautiful now as she was then to me, but Karen knows that. |
Welcome to Maryland. My husband and I live in Parkton, Maryland with our three Danes Monty, Winston and Alex. Hope you enjoy your stay. |
My girl Luna is very proud to call the Divine Miss Helen her Aunt Helen. We are both proud and grateful to call Karen and Hellie are friends. Both have hearts of gold and we love them so much. Perfect in every way. |
Oh, yes, The Devine Miss Helen!
What a character. Can't just but love her. Greetings to her and, of course, Karen. Ingrid |
Ginnie, my good friend, yet again, you managed to capture "The Divine One's"personality in a single click. She is a regal, noble, dignified girl. She's bossy, opinionated and snooty. She rules with an iron paw. She's sweet, compassionate and loving...confident and sincere. She is.......my soulmate . Thank you for the privedge of featuring my girl on DaDane of DaWeek.
