Wonderful pics and stories as always! Just in case any of your readers are interested, Louise Peterson has generously donated some of her work to ebay with proceeds aiding different Dane and animal rescues. I've just bidded. I own her Weezie's Walkies and am in total awe of her work. Marie
We lost our Dane this morning. My sweet Macee Gray, a blue merle, had to be down because of bloat and shock. We rescued Macee from a vet's office where my sister worked with all of her health problems 7 years ago. We nursed her back to health and she has been a wonderful daughter, sister to my toddler, and cats. We are devistated and will miss her goofy ways. Please all readers give your babies hugs and kisses for us today.
I forgot to add that the same girl that helped me adopt Macee was working at the Emergency Hospital this morning and actually was the one who put her down for me. How strange that she was there in the beginning and helped me bring her back to health and there at the end. God Bless Her.
Of course, I always enjoy the photos, Ginnie. However, it is icing on the cake that you and JP provide information about agility, obedience and rally. I am sure that a lot of dog owners appreciate that.
Thanks for all the great info!!! JP is really up on what's going on in the world of performance Danes and I think that is wonderful!! Super to see some of that information featured at a beautiful forum like DaDane. On a Rally note, my husband Stacey & our big black Dane boy Tiger just finished their first Rally title this weekend!!! They had earned their first leg at the National in Arizona this year :)
