I sure hope Dahlia recovers and finds a forever home.....hopefully with Cynthia. That poor fur girl. She has been through so much. Cynthia is a saint for the work she has done to help the animals which suffered in the storm. I just e-mailed Paula last night wondering where she was and if she is okay. I was relieved to come to DaDane this morning and find out she and her crew are safe! I hope the damage to her photo store can be repaired. Glad to hear her home remained basically in one piece!!
As always, Ginnie, thanks for the words and pictures.

Thank God for all the volunteers that are help all the animals. I feel for the people but I think the animals get forgotten too easy. Poor Dahlia. I look at her pictures and I just want to take her here to be a friend of my 7 yr old male dane, Max.

My Dane Moses is 7 and Dahlia looks about the same age. Thank God for people like Cynthia. All I could do here in CA is donate money. Our shelters have taken in hundreds of animals since Katrina. I am thinking about fostering or adopting in hopes the original owners can be found

Maybe Dahlia will be better off with you. I've never seen cal on a dogs rear end either. You're an angel for taking care of her -- can you just imagine how scared she was -- Oh, my goodness. God bless you!! Syl XXXOOO

Cynthia is a personal friend of mine & I can tell you for a fact that Dahlia will be much better off with her than her previous home. She couldn't dream of finding a better human mom! My hat's off to Cynthia - she's my new hero.
