Nessa is certainly gorgeous. I wondered how big she was. We have a new Dane in our house and haven't had a puppy for 12 years and don't remember some of those "events". Our old girl, Chloe(http://www.ginnie.com/DaDane452.shtml), was not a large Dane but I think our new addition is going to be pretty big since she is 4 months and 50 lbs and 22inches. We are having "Shark"events as well. Best wishes to Nessa and her family and I hope we here more of her antics.

To Galen and his wife,, congratulations on you're new "little" girl !!!!!
I have a 17month old Dane who also loves the Shark outlook on life... my first Dane was the complete opposite.... I have learned to watch out for holes in the back yard,, new areas of digging around the fence,,, the zoomies around the house,,,etc.....
there is'nt anything that she can't reach,,, she is a big baby,, and we have some growing up to do and some re-enforcement of our Homework from our classes...
Nessie is a beautifull young lady.....
Oh yes, the memories of my Dane Moses, now 7 are still clear. He ate the new family room furniture-it didn't look right anyway. The backyard looked like land mines from a war hand landed. Moses thought the pillows were intruders and made it his personal mission to destroy each and every one. Food on the counter-yes, one day when he thought I was not looking a whole chicken disappeared. I chased him around the back yard for 5 minutes yelling "DROP IT". No wonder my neighbors think I'm strange !! LOVE IT YOU GO NESSA
Oh - you could probably fill a book with "shark" memories people send you. Our little girl ate two matching velvet couches. I was delighted. I had inherited the couches by default from the ex-wife. I guess my girl could tell that they needed removed... those "sharks" have such good instincts! Thanks again Ginnie
to Galen and his wife,, meant to say this earlier,, tell us about you're new "little" girl... I remember how devasted you both were after loosing Chole and would love to hear about the little one who stole you're hearts !!!!
We have Nessa's Grandma Gypsy, and her Great Uncle Rocky. Rocky is the perfect dane, always an angel.....however, sounds like Nessa has taken on a few characteristics of Grandma Gypsy. Nessa has that "there's a french fry in front of my face, and I'm never taking my eye's off it" look like her Grandma. She is a beauty!
WOW! What a gorgeous head and neck on that girl, Scot! Stunning...my style of Dane.
Not to worry, Allison. She'll mature in, say, another 6 to 7 years...!
What a great picture of Nessa, she looks so majestic! But I love Nessa's "Sweet" face picture--it made me laugh when I saw it & everybody had to see what I was laughing at! Thanks Marc & Allison for giving me a moment of pleasure in my grueling day.
What a beautiful girl! My Merle and white dane, Thadeus has had his share of shark moments also. We have lost 2 couches, countless dog beds, food,( he can open the refrigerator and freezer), turn on the kitchen faucets ... you know the usual dane antics. But, I love him anyway! Good luck with Nessa! She sounds like a lot of fun!
What a pretty girl!!! Even in her kabuki make-up! LOL! My husband used to call our fawn boy Miles "Shark Face" when he was a pup! For the same reason you called Nessa that!! She sounds like a groovy gal with lots of personality!!!
Danefully,
Chantel
Nessa's sister Victoria ("Freya") lives with us, and is much prettier (teasing, teasing!). Scot and Peg really outdid themselves with this litter! Personality plus and looks to beat all. Thank you Scot and Peg!
