I'm the proud "mummy" of a 2 years-old Italian Arl (actually, the blood-line is German...). It's funny to see that an Ocean (and some seas) makes them look soooo different (but always lovely). Thank you for the great work that you're doing for all of us fallen in love with GDs.

DaDane of the week is always an amazing Monday morning ritual for me. Thankyou Ginnie for always adding so much insight, humor, education and love to all of us that are devoted to this magnificent breed. As I was looking at these incredibly beautiful photos and loving every second of it however longing so badly for our dear departed Dane I couldn't help but contrast these to the photos of the Danes in rescue. We are in the process of trying to adopt and it is breaking our hearts. Please understand that I in no way want to be 'downer' for anyone and I truly apprecitate all the majestic glory these pictures hold. It just brings to light the potiential of Danes everyhwhere and how through circumstance and neglect the dogs suffer and I believe that is criminal. God Bless all of you who love, care and devote yourself to the Dane(s) in your world for they truly are one of God's special creations. Thank you dear Ginnie for bringing all of us a little closer together.

I love this site. I am the owner of a female blue merle greatdane and I love her to death. I have so much fun coming on here and seeing other pictures of the different colored danes. Now I am looking for a Black one and tan one. My Tinker is so lovible and funny. We love watching her jumping on the trampoline with our kids. She is so smart. Thanks again Ginnie.
