The photos are just spectacular! Your descriptions are so vivid and detailed that I almost feel as though I have been there with you. Since I can't be there in person, this is a wonderful way to "see the world". I can't wait for the next installment ! |
| Sure hope you waved at Shemya Island (a 4 mile by 2 mile island on the Aleutian chain) as you passed by on the way to Kamchatka. There are lots of folks working very hard to protect our country there and deserve all the "thanks" we can give them. Spent some time there this winter and it is indeed a special place. Special environment and extraordinary place. |
