Thank You Ginnie for your wonderful web site -- I always look forward to Monday mornings! |
I agree....Mondays are nice when you get to see a beautiful face like this to start the day.
Thanks, Ginnie :) Chantel & the Boys @ LeCheval ~ |
thanks for the lovely picture !!! enjoyed the previous 2 weeks too!!! you tell a great story !!! did Merlin ever adjust to the Merlin-mobile ????? have a great week... |
Ginnie, you have absolutely captured everything about Noel that makes her beautiful! Take a look at the included link, that's Java, Noel's brother. We took some fun pictures last summer during a trip to downtown Chicago. Java shares Noel's calm demeanor, and even some of her good looks! Thanks to Mike and Tracy for the sweetes most wonderful boy in the world! |
Ginnie,
Thanks for including Grace's update this week. I am still floating on air about how well she continues to do. Quite the poster child for what modern medicine, alternative therapies and plain old yankee stubbornness can accomplish<G> |
Dianne,
What alternative therapies did you use to compliment the "traditional" chemo and bone marrow medical treatments? Just curious. (I already know about your yankee stuborness <gr> so THAT needs no further explanation.) Ginnie |
Ericka,
I'd love to see those pictures of Java, but I don't want to divulge personal information and/or sign up for membership with "ImageStation" in order to view them. I suppose I miss out on a lot of photos that way. I just can't bring myself to give up that kind of information (and possibly leave myself open to unwanted email solicitations from affiliate sites) for a single viewing session. If you decide to post the photos on a "regular" website, let me know and I'll go look! Thanks, Ginnie |
Janet,
Merlin STILL refuses to climb into the Merlin-mobile. He's such a wuss. Ginnie |
Pretty girl. Love that face.
I don't know Ginnie, I don't think you could take a bad picture. BTW, glad to know you "weathered the storm". *g* |
Thank you for the vote of confidence, Valerie. :-) Believe me, I take plenty of "bad" pictures, but I don't put them on-line.
As for the ice storm, well, we are having another one. It's not expected to last as long, so it shouldn't be as severe. As I'm typing this, I'm watching the ice build up on the bushes and trees outside my studio window, and wondering when/if the power will fail. I promise not to write about this one, though, unless something really extraordinary happens. Ginnie |
Ginnie,
Primarily Grace had acupuncture on a regular basis (weekly at first, then monthly) to support her immune system. She also had chinese herbs (exactly which ones is escaping me at the moment) and a product called Cellular Forte to boost her immune system during the chemo and bone marrow transplant. She is off the supplements for now (her choice-she refused to take them any more) but still has acupuncture monthly. Grace also has a friend who is practicing communication and worked with us to make sure I was on target with her care. You know Grace would let me know if I missed something<G>. Dianne |
