While exploring the park one fine Autumn day, Mats and Lamont heard a movement in the brush. The two puppies scrambled over to investigate. At that moment, a strange looking critter jumped onto a log. What in the world?! They watched it for awhile. (It didn't do much.) Finally Mats spoke. "You know what that is, dontcha?" Lamont didn't say a thing. "It's a dinosaur," said Mats, speaking with great authority. Poor Lamont. What a disappointment! The whole time, he thought he'd been watching the Lizard of Oz. |
